Utah has a major tourism industry due to its beautiful and majestic scenery which spans a vast area within the state. The state is known for its year-round local attractions which include its five major parks. These are Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion. Behind both California and Alaska, Utah has the most national parks. Utah also possesses seven national monuments including Cedar Breaks, Dinosaur, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Hovenweep, Natural Bridges, Rainbow Bridge and Timpanogos Cave.
